The team of Michigan PGA Professional Patrick Wilkes-Krier and PGA Associate Professional Ryan Lenahan from the Kendall Academy of Golf won the Yamaha Golf Cars Plus/Foresight Sports Pro Pro Championship at Country Club of Detroit and Lochmoor Club for back to back wins at this event.
So far this year, Ryan and Patrick are off to a great start as they also found themselves on the winning end of the Club Car Spring Scramble just a couple of weeks ago.
After round 1, Ryan and Patrick held a two-shot lead after shooting a -10 under par round of 62 at Lochmoor Club, and would finish the day at -18 under par after an -8 under par round of 63 at Country Club of Detroit. The team of John Seltzer from Egypt Valley Country Club and Kyle Martin from Lochmoor Country Club were only two shots behind going into the second round at Country Club of Detroit and finished 4 shots back at -14 under.
We would like to thank our host sites Country Club of Detroit and Lochmoor Country Club. Both facilities provided excellent venues and the golf courses were great.
We would also like to thank our title sponsors, Yamaha Golf Cars Plus and Foresight Sports. It was great to have them onsite supporting the event.
