We would like to congratulate the team from Carl’s Golfland with professional Tom Harding and his amateur partners Karlis Vizulis, Jim Richter, Dave Deutsch on winning the Michigan PGA Trump Doral Pro Am presented by Linksoul.
Heading into the final round on Monday they were 3 shots back but closed with the low round of the day 133 ( -11 ) on the difficult Doral Blue Monster Course in this two net best ball format to win the overall championship by 5 shots.
Finishing in second place overall was the team from The Wyndgate with professional Rob Elder and his amateur partners Chad Peterson, Alan Peterson and Leland Weaver. The team from Treetops with professional Kevin McKinley and his amateur partners David Han, Greg Hills and Keith Masser won the 3rd place tie breaker with their great final round of 137 ( -7 )
All of the teams had a great time in this sold out event of 27 teams. The event kicked off with the opening party on Friday night where all of the teams received their tee gifts courtesy of Linksoul. The teams then played 3 rounds at Trump Doral finishing on Monday with the famed Blue Monster course.
We would like to thank all of the staff at Trump Doral as they did a fantastic job taking care of our group.
