Richland, MI – It was an outstanding day of golf on Monday at Gull Lake Country Club. The sun was out in full force which made for a hot day on the golf course. The team from the Kendall Academy at Miles of Golf of Ryan Lenahan and Patrick Wilkes-Krier at 11-under (61) secured the Sterling Cut Glass/St Andrews Products Fall Pro Pro title.
35 teams of two Michigan PGA Professionals or Associates teed it up on Monday at Gull Lake Country Club in this 18-hole format that featured six holes of best ball, six holes of modified alternate shot and six holes of scramble format.
The winning duo took home the title after winning a one-hole playoff with an eagle on hole #18 against the team of Don Devantier from Wyndgate and Tyler Fisher from Birmingham Country Club. Both teams went into the playoff at 11-under par. The teams of Ryan Bayer and Jimmy Wisinski of Kent Country Club and Jim Deiters of Midland Country Club and Brain Cairns of Fox Hills Learning Center, both followed closely with 62 and finished at 10-under par.
