Host Pro Jim Deiters and Son Austin Deiters win the St. Andrews Products/Earth Networks Fall Pro-Pro.

Congratulations to the father and son duo Jim and Austin Deiters for taking home the trophy at the St. Andrews Products/Earth Networks Fall Pro Pro. Jim is a Michigan PGA member and the head professional for Midland Country Club and Austin is an employee at Midland Golf HQ.

Mimicking the same format as the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational, a LPGA Tour event that is also held at Midland Country Club, we used a 6 hole best ball, 6 hole modified alternate shot and 6 hole scramble.

Two teams – Jim and Austin Deiters and Ben Cook from Yankee Springs Golf Course and Ryan Bayer from Kent Country Club – were tied at -10 under par with scores of 60, which lead to a playoff.

The playoff lasted three holes and ended when Jim Deiters sank a 20-foot birdie putt for the win.
