Midland, MI – Congratulations to the winning team of Ryan Lenahan from Kendall Academy at Miles of Golf, Patrick Wilkes-Krier from Kendall Academy at Miles of Golf, Darren Husse from Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club, and Scott Shapin from Pine Lake Country Club.
The team had a successful day in this two best ball of four format, finishing -13 under par. They finished with a score of 127, which secured the winning position over the second place team of Jim Deiters of Midland Country Club, Ryan Bayer of Kent Country Club, Benny Cook of Quail Ridge Golf Club, and amateur Matt Zerbel. They were right behind, finishing -10 under par with a score of 130.
Thank you to Midland Country Club for hosting this event. The staff and club were very helpful and welcoming. It was a great day to be out on the course, even though it was a bit windy. The golf course was in great shape, many players complimented the facility as a whole. This was a pleasure for the Michigan Section to host our event here. The day was wrapped up on the back patio with awards and drinks overlooking the 18th hole.
