Redford, MI – Congratulations to the team of Michigan PGA Professionals Brian Carins from Fox Hills Learning Center, Ryan Bayer from Kent Country Club, Jim Deiters from Midland Country Club and Austin Deiters from Midland Golf HQ on winning the Fall Pro Scratch on Monday at Western Golf & Country Club !
They got off to a fast start in this two best ball of four format going -12 under par in their first 12 holes. They would finish with a score of 129 ( -15 under ) good enough for a two shot victory over the defending champions – Mark Nowosielski and Scott Shapin from Pine Lake Country Club ,Tim Pearce from Birmingham Country Club and Darren Husse from Warwick Hills Country Club.
It was a great way to wrap up the Michigan PGA Section Tournament Season with a warm and sunny October day. A big thanks to Western Golf & Country Club for hosting this event. The golf course was in great shape, and we finished the day with awards and drinks in the beautiful new clubhouse.
