Rochester, MI – The Senior Junior Championship presented by St Andrews was held on Thursday, June 9th at The Wyndgate Country Club. Players formed 2-man teams and played best ball for this 18 hole event – it was a day of great competition and excitement. This year’s purse was $5,000 and all of the teams were playing for a chance to win some prize money.

Tied for first place with an impressive -7 under were the teams of former PGA Tour player Dan Pohl/Jeff Roth of Boyne Golf Academy and Brian Cairns from the Fox Hills Learning Center/Ben Cook from Yankee Springs Golf Course. This tie sent the two teams into a sudden death playoff. The Cairns/Cook duo became back-to-back tournament champions. This year however, they won in a very dramatic fashion… To end the playoff and win the tournament, Ben Cook sank a remarkable 20-foot putt on the first hole. Congratulations to our 2020 Senior Junior Champions, Brian Cairns and Ben Cook.
