Registration is now open for all Michigan PGA Section events ! This includes all the qualifiers for the 103rd Michigan Open Championship at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa as well as the Pre Qualifiers for the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club.
Section Majors:
The 103rd Michigan Open Championship is returning to Grand Traverse Resort and will take place on The Bear – June 8-11. Grand Traverse Resort and The Bear continues to provide a great venue for this State Championship we look forward to another great event this year. The Tournament of Champions will take place on July 27 – 29 at Boyne Mountain.Players will compete on The Alpine Course – Monday / Wednesday and the Monument Course on Tuesday. We are excited that are partner Boyne has decided to increase the purse this year – more info to come.
The Michigan PGA Professional Championship returns to Flint Golf Club and will take place on August 17-19, 2020. Participants will also be competing for 9 qualifying spots for the 2021 PGA Professional Championship at this event.
The Michigan PGA Section Match Play presented by the PGA Tour returns to the Country Club of Lansing and will take place on Tuesday / Wednesday – September 22-23. The final 16 at this event will once again qualify through their respective Chapter or Senior Organization.

- Michigan Senior PGA Professional Championship (Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club – August 3-4) – Registration Opens April 22
- Michigan PGA Assistants Championship (Battle Creek Country Club – August 10) – Registration Opens March 25

Section Events :
We are excited about the 2020 season and the tournament schedule. We look forward to another great first event on April 27th at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club with the Club Car Spring Scramble presented by Golf Status.
The Club Car / Midwest Golf & Turf team will also sponsor the Midwest Golf & Turf Pro Am as this event returns to The Fortress on July 20th . This event is a Pro Am format where your team is entered into both Gross and Net Divisions.
The Yamaha Golf Cars Plus / Bushnell Pro – Pro Championship will take place on Monday, May 4th at Egypt Valley Country Club. Teams will play both the Ridge & Valley courses with am / pm shotguns at each course.
Adidas is back and we are excited to announce they have committed to sponsor the Adidas State Pro Am at Boyne Highlands through 2023 ! Adidas will once again have a mobile pro shop set up onsite for participants to pick out their tee gifts. This event will take place on June 1st – 2nd on the Heather and Hills courses.
