PGA Hope, Logo

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE introduces golf to Veterans with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.

The program introduces the game of golf through a developmental 6-8 week curriculum, taught by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency. All programs are funded by PGA REACH and supplemented by PGA Section Foundations, so the cost of programming is free to all Veterans.

HOPE Its Close- The “HOPE its Close” Is a closest to the pin contest to be conducted on your golf simulator or on one of your courses par 3s. The advantage of using a simulator for this is the ability to run this event during the offseason when courses are not open. The rules are simple, for a small donation participant take 1 swing to see who can get closest to the hole. the person closest to the hole at the end of the contest is the winner!

Putt FORE PGA HOPE- A participant (putter) donates money to attempt a relatively difficult putt on your practice putting green. We recommend a 10-15-foot putt with at least one break. Set up your “tee Box” with spare tee markers. If the participant makes the putt he wins a prize that you see fit!
